A conceptual model of a logging machine for selective sanitary felling has been presented, enabling the cutting of hard-to-reach trees without damaging healthy ones. The technological capabilities of the machine for selective sanitary felling, with the percentage of trees to be cut ranging from 1 to 99%, were explored using mathematical models through digital simulation. It is recommended to use the logging machine when the percentage of trees to be cut does not exceed 60-70% of the total number of trees in the stand. It has been established that within this range, 50% of the trees are hard to reach.
