The article analyzes current topics in the field of forestry, namely the use of unmanned aerial vehicles and aircraft. The advantages and disadvantages are identified, as well as obstacles and problems for technological improvement are described. The results of the study make it possible to assess the readiness of UAVs and UAVs to use woodworking processes and monitoring resources.
