The article examines the impact of the introduction of ESG principles on the work of companies in the field of development. By integrating the ESG agenda into their work, developers strive to improve the quality of life and contribute to environmental protection. Energy efficiency, environmental friendliness and functionality are becoming increasingly important when evaluating real estate. In addition, recently implemented green building standards for apartment and individual houses were reviewed. Compliance with ESG principles is reflected in the valuation of real estate, taking into account lower operating costs due to lower energy costs, increased demand sustainability, increased attractiveness to investors and predictable cash flows, attracting tenants and reducing downtime, reducing the risks of climate change and new environmental requirements.
