The article examines the types and main content of sanctions restrictions against Russia, as well as their impact on the country's economy. The analysis of the dynamics of GDP for 2020-2024, the inflation rate and fluctuations of the national currency is carried out. The impact of sanctions pressure on the energy sector of the economy and the standard of living of the population is emphasized. It was noted that the long-term success of the economy in the face of sanctions pressure will depend on structural reforms aimed at technological development, improving the efficiency of domestic markets and integration into alternative global supply chains.
