The article is dedicated to the analysis of the features of the federal labor market in Russia for the profession of an accountant. The study, based on data from popular job search sites, reveals that the average salary in this field is often lower than the all-Russian level. Despite this, a balance of supply and demand is observed in the labor market, supporting the demand for the profession. The article examines key features of the labor market for accountants, which were selected from the information on job search and federal statistical agencies` websites. Such aspects as salary and the most in-demand competencies in job postings are analyzed.
