The article analyzes the existing methods for determining the current location of vehicles without using data from global navigation satellite systems (GNSS). As a result of the analysis, optimal conditions are determined for the use of various methods, depending on the type of vehicles and the quality of GNSS data reception, in order to ensure stable operation of transport management systems.
