Natural overgrowth is one of the ways plants settle on disturbed lands. Studying its features makes it possible to reduce the amount of reclamation work, as well as to develop measures to improve methods and methods of biological landscape reclamation. The article is devoted to the natural renewal at the dump of the Donskoy quarry, located in the Zadonsky district of the Lipetsk region. The natural regeneration of herbaceous and woody-shrubby vegetation is analyzed. The assessment of the state of natural regeneration at the dump is given.
