Modern astronomy relies not only on optical observation methods but also on radio-electronic devices (REDs), which make it possible to detect electromagnetic waves across various ranges. A special place in this field is occupied by SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) – the search for signals that could indicate the existence of intelligent life beyond Earth. From the very first experiments in the mid-20th century to the present day, radio astronomy installations have remained a key tool in such research.
