Abstract (English):
This article raises the topic of the American dream for Chinese Americans who are looking for their place between two completely different cultures, the American culture that has western values and Chinese eastern traditions. Special attention is paid to the children of immigrants who face cultural differences and experience pressure from both sides. The article draws attention to how these differences create their understanding and perception of the American dream.
