The article examines the challenges of integrating CryptoPro software with modern web applications of information systems. Architectural features of the CryptoPro Browser plug-in are analyzed, performance bottlenecks and compatibility issues with various browsers are identified. Approaches to API unification for cryptographic operations in the web environment are proposed. Opportunities for optimizing interaction between the client and server parts of the system when using Russian cryptographic standards GOST are explored.
