Abstract (English):
With the expansion of space activities and the increasing complexity of missions, the task of ensuring the smooth operation of on-board electronics in the aggressive radiation environment of space is coming to the fore. Foreign microelectronics manufacturers, with a well–developed technological base and many years of experience, offer a number of specialized solutions - radiation-resistant microcontrollers capable of withstanding ionizing radiation, heavy charged particles and single failures. The purpose of this article is to review the key foreign microcontrollers designed to operate in outer space, to analyze their architectural features, radiation characteristics and applications. Special attention is paid to comparing approaches to radiation resistance from leading foreign companies and their domestic counterparts, which makes it possible to identify competitive advantages and potential growth points for the national microelectronics industry.
