Abstract:
The article examines the issues of integrating automated control systems (ACS) on accident-prone road sections. An analysis of factors contributing to increased accident rates is provided, and approaches to implementing intelligent transport systems for reducing the number of traffic accidents are proposed. The main components of ACS used on hazardous sections are reviewed, and their effectiveness is assessed based on domestic and international experience.
