Introductions in global and Russian practice are a multi-layered mosaic, where each fragment is determined by a combination of climatic, soil, genetic, and organizational factors. It is pointless to generalize it into a single "universal recipe." It is more appropriate to rely on the accumulated data from countries and regions and take into account specific limitations. We have developed techniques for germinating seeds to determine their germination rate. It turned out that seeds of different harvest times had ambiguous germination: seeds of early harvests had low germination (possibly subsequent storage in cones would increase their germination), while the maximum germination (38.4%) and the highest germination rate were observed in seeds harvested on September 10 and August 30 (from 27.7 % to 35.5 %).
