Abstract:
The decorative features of the varieties and species of the Norway maple (Acer platanoides L.) are determined by a complex of morphological and physiological characteristics that manifest themselves during different periods of vegetation. We studied individual specimens of the above-mentioned species by visual and vitality surveys on the central street of our city. The analysis conducted reveals a systemic crisis in the creation of sustainable tree plantations. The survival of a small number of trees (categories 2-3) with signs of vegetation and reproduction is likely due to microvariations in the growing conditions.
