The creation and subsequent cultivation of artificial forest plantations using introduced tree species appears to be expedient for addressing the objectives of increasing the species diversity of forest ecosystems, enhancing their aesthetic value, and strengthening their conservation functions, particularly water protection and soil conservation. To assess the growth dynamics of Pseudotsuga menziesii, representative sites were selected, located at a significant meridional distance within the European part of the Russian Federation (using Yaroslavl and Voronezh regions as examples). The conducted research allowed for the establishment of the high potential of this species for wood mass accumulation, as well as the identification of specific developmental characteristics depending on the spatial location of planting sites and the characteristics of forest growing conditions.
