The article provides an analysis of the biological diversity of plant communities on the territory of kindergartens in the cities of the Arctic zone. The research is based on the example of the administrative center, the city of Arkhangelsk, in which 15 preschool institutions with complete records of dendroflora elements were randomly selected in various territorial districts. It was found that the dendroflora of the surveyed objects is represented by 50 species of trees and shrubs belonging to 34 genera. The number of recorded species is 22 taksons of trees and 28 of shrubs, which roughly correlates with the data of other scientists obtained in general for greening the urban environment.
