This article presents the results of an experiment on vegetative propagation by grafting four Scots pine cultivars ('Wattereri', 'Aurea', 'Globosa Viridis', and 'Norse typ'). The experiment was conducted in late July 2025. The plants participating in the experiment demonstrated high propagation efficiency, with a positive result (100 % fusion) achieved in all experimental variants. A description of the technology for growing Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) rootstock with a closed root system onto which the grafting was performed is also provided. It was found that preparing the rootstock in a p9 pot and then transplanting it into a 3-liter container enables high grafting efficiency. The use of budding elastics and a special film for fixing the scion also has a positive effect on the fusion of the grafted plant parts. The fusion of the graft components occurs within 4-5 weeks in all variants.
