Abstract:
The article considers the problem of utilization of agricultural waste and their processing into biogas as a promising direction of bioenergy. The main types of waste are analyzed - livestock runoff and plant residues, their potential and limitations during anaerobic fermentation. Particular attention is paid to the results of co-fermentation (co-fermentation), which allows you to overcome the disadvantages of mono-processing and significantly increase the yield of biogas. Factors affecting the efficiency of the process and the prospects for introducing biogas technologies in the context of a circular economy are discussed.
