Abstract:
This article examines the policy of armed neutrality in 1780. An important place in this article is given to the reasons for the proclamation of armed neutrality by Catherine II and how the principles proclaimed by the Russian Empress were implemented. Also, the article will focus on the League of Armed Neutrality. The issues of the formation and functioning of this league will be considered. At the end of the article, some results of the policy of armed neutrality will be presented.
