Abstract:
Data version conflicts in distributed storage systems arise from concurrent replica updates, posing serious consistency challenges. The article systematizes mathematical resolution models: Lamport vector clocks, version trees, CRDT, quorum schemes, hybrid logical clocks. PACELC tradeoffs between consistency, availability, and latency are analyzed. Probabilistic conflict frequency models and replication parameter optimization criteria for various workloads are developed.
