The paper describes practical microservice design for corporate systems. It highlights how service boundaries, data ownership and observability affect scalability. Typical fault-tolerance mechanisms are discussed: timeouts, bulkheads, graceful degradation and reliable event delivery. Integration with legacy systems and incremental migration without downtime are also covered.
