Abstract:
The article provides an overview of IPv4 as the basis for addressing in the global network. The author examines its working principle, the disadvantages and limitations of IPv4, and its role in the development of the Internet. The uniqueness of the article lies in its focus on the IPv4 protocol and its limitations related to address space.
