In the context of dynamic changes in the economic, social, and technological spheres, effective management of innovative projects is becoming a key factor in achieving sustainable regional development. The aim of this paper is to examine the need to create a unified system of standards and approaches to project implementation. The article analyzes the key stages of unification and standardization, as well as methods for evaluating project effectiveness. Particular attention is paid to the role of innovation in regional adaptation to new challenges and opportunities, as well as the importance of training qualified personnel for successful project implementation. In conclusion, it is emphasized that the development of methodological support not only facilitates project management optimization but also enables regions to enhance their competitiveness at the national level. In further research, a set of indicators will be developed that will make it possible to characterize the results of the implementation of innovative projects in different regions.
