The article is devoted to solving the key problem of document approval automation systems - their rigidity and dependence on developers for any changes. A two-level approach is proposed as a methodological basis, combining the analytical power of Process Mining to diagnose bottlenecks and the flexibility of a domain-specific language (DSL) for operational redesign of routes. It is considered how, based on objective data extracted from event logs, business rules can be formalized in the form of executable DSL constructs. Special attention is paid to the built-in validation mechanism, which allows the business analyst to verify the logical integrity and correctness of the route at the design stage. The presented approach transforms the system into a dynamically configurable "process designer", which significantly reduces the time needed to implement changes and increases the overall manageability and efficiency of corporate document management.
