Abstract:
The paper discusses the directions for further development of a desktop offline system designed for automatic anonymization and field-level encryption of personal data in documents. The initial version of the system detects fragments with personal data, supports two processing modes (irreversible deletion and controlled encryption), and preserves the visual structure of the document. The article discusses how this prototype can evolve into a fully-fledged industrial tool by strengthening the cryptographic subsystem and managing keys at the organizational level, expanding text de-identification methods, and integrating with existing IT infrastructure. The paper explores the product's potential over the next few years, including the development of specialized editions for different industries, potential cross-platform compatibility, integration into corporate data preparation pipelines, and the use of accumulated error statistics to gradually improve the quality of de-identification. The paper demonstrates that with consistent development, the system can become a sustainable application tool that supports the real-world practice of protecting personal data in organizations.
