Abstract:
The article is devoted to the emergency fuel system of modern aircraft, emphasizing its role in ensuring reliable fuel supply in extreme conditions. The principles of multilevel redundancy, key components (tanks, pumps, valves, pipelines), protection measures against leaks and fuel starvation, as well as control, diagnostic and fuel discharge systems are considered. The evolution of systems from piston-powered aircraft to digital complexes is discussed using the examples of Boeing 737, Airbus A320 and Russian airliners (Tu-214, SSJ-100, MS-21), with an emphasis on safety and compliance with ICAO standards.
