Abstract:
This paper presents a method for assessing the potential hazard of road sections based on OpenStreetMap data. The proposed approach allows for the identification of intersections and road infrastructure objects, takes into account their impact on the «Road» subsystem, and calculates the probability of traffic accidents to identify hazardous sections of a road route.
