This paper examines the impact of fuel storage conditions on its quality. Potential contamination of the tank's interior is described. It is determined that manual cleaning does not always effectively clean the tank's interior. The use of detergents is proposed to ensure a high degree of tank cleaning and, consequently, maintain the quality of fuel during storage.
