This article analyzes and optimizes logistics processes for transporting raw cotton and its processed products in the Republic of Uzbekistan amid the shift from raw material exports to deep processing. Based on a systematic analysis of statistical data and a comparative assessment of transport modes, bottlenecks in supply chains are identified. The study substantiates the need to develop multimodal transportation (including the route through Kazakhstan to China), implement “smart” logistics, and improve contractual relations between farmers and processors. Scientific novelty lies in integrating logistics aspects with institutional reforms (clustering, the ban on fiber exports since 2020) and geopolitical factors. The proposed recommendations aim to enhance the industry’s competitiveness through stable and predictable freight flows.
