Abstract:
This article examines the impact of pre-training on the rate and extent of acclimatization. Oximetry was used to assess blood oxygen saturation, breath-hold time, and the "stable phase." The study concluded that absolute breath-hold values, blood oxygen percentage, and the "stable phase" were significantly higher in trained individuals than in untrained individuals.
