This article examines methods and tools for automated environmental monitoring at industrial facilities. It presents the key functional requirements for automated environmental monitoring systems, as well as methods for measuring pollutants using sensors and remote sensing methods. Mathematical models of pollutant propagation and methods for processing the obtained data are described. It is noted that the use of modern measurement technologies, information systems, and mathematical relationships enables more effective environmental monitoring and the timely identification of potential environmental risks.
