This article discusses a methodology for building information modeling of load-bearing roof structures with curved surfaces for circular buildings. The developed methodology allows for the specification of various options for a three-dimensional metal structural lattice for coatings and the automation of modeling processes at the design stage. Examples of constructing roof surfaces with geometry for a circular building with a diameter of 30 m with various structural lattice options are given. The modeling methodology presented in the article allows us to reduce the timeframe, decrease labor intensity, and consider various options when designing roofs for buildings with circular plans.
