This article presents the results of research and development of an automated process control system for a gas distribution station. The main technological parameters subject to automation are considered, and a control system structure based on a programmable logic controller is proposed. A mathematical model of the gas pressure reduction process has been developed, and a pressure controller has been synthesized. The results of simulation in the MATLAB environment are presented, confirming the effectiveness of the proposed solutions.
