This article addresses the development of sustainable development indicators based on long-term innovation potential to ensure economic security. It addresses the current situation at forestry enterprises in the Ural region. The key factors are, first and foremost, innovation and risk-free parameters from the perspective of rational use and resource management. Particular emphasis is placed on both internal and external variables, considering the relevance and significance of the problem.
