This article examines the development of agroforestry systems on lands of various uses across federal districts. Costs for work packages for establishing agroforestry systems are determined based on current standard costs. It demonstrates that agroforestry systems can act as highly effective carbon sinks, and their creation and maintenance can be linked to the implementation of forest climate projects
