The Olympic Games require large-scale construction, including the creation of park zones and green infrastructure. The article analyzes the balance between investments in greening Olympic complexes and long-term environmental and economic benefits. Using the Olympic Parks of London (2012), Beijing (2008), and Sochi (2014) as examples, the analysis quantifies the costs of greening and post-Olympic effects such as increased property values, tourist appeal, reduced CO2 emissions, and recreational value. The model for assessing the payback of green investments has been developed, taking into account ecosystem services.
