The expediency of using logging vehicles with trailers to increase the productivity of timber hauling by logging enterprises is substantiated. The negative consequences of the operation of logging trucks equipped with coupling devices with a large gap between the loop and the hook are considered. A diagram of the main design and operational factors influencing the change in the load value in the coupling device of a logging vehicle with a trailer is presented. The analysis of the influence of these factors on the operational properties of logging road trains is carried out.
