This article analyzes key areas for urban mobility development in megacities, based on the provisions of the Transport Strategy of the Russian Federation until 2030. The authors identify five key transformation vectors: the development of a core transport framework, a shift in urban spatial priorities toward pedestrians and public transport, the implementation of intelligent transport systems and digital technologies, the greening of transport, and improved safety through the creation of a barrier-free environment. Particular attention is paid to the need to change citizens' behavioral patterns and shift from private cars to more sustainable and efficient modes of transportation. The authors believe that implementing these areas will not only solve current transport problems but also lay the foundation for the sustainable, comfortable, and competitive development of Russia's largest cities.
