The article presents basic recurrence relations for developing a technology for calculating the kinematic and dynamic characteristics of the hydraulic drive of a forestry crane boom lift mechanism with a magnetic damper. These relations are derived for solving a system of differential equations within a physical and mathematical model describing the boom dynamics and kinematics, changes in hydraulic fluid pressure in the hydraulic drive, and the operation of the magnetic damper.
