In the article, the author conducts a rigorous scientific analysis concerning the techniques of organization and implementation of psychotherapeutic activities, considering the latter in parallel with educational and self-educational functions. The author sees this process as a synthesis of scientific studies taken from the Jungian branch of sand psychotherapy in their combination with various academic intellectual traditions of the West and East. The above–mentioned predicates of human existence are thought of in terms of contrasting such Jungian concepts as "self" and "shadow", from which we can make a very reasonable conclusion that both psychotherapy separately and the organization of psychotherapeutic events in higher education are two integral processes of individualization of a modern person connected to a rather serious academic traditions of modern society.
