Abstract:
The human factor remains the primary cause of 74% of incidents in information systems. The article examines mathematical models of human factor impact on resilience: HCR (Human Cognitive Reliability) model, CREAM techniques, FNcurves, and stochastic models of human error. Scenarios of phishing, configuration errors, insider threats, and operator fatigue are analyzed. Probabilistic MTBF models accounting for human factors and optimization strategies for reliability enhancement are developed. The results demonstrate a 42% reduction in incidents with implementation of recommended measures.
