Abstract:
Corporate information systems are exposed to risks from user behavioral anomalies, such as unusual access patterns indicating insider threats or account compromises. This paper develops and tests an agent-based simulation model using AnyLogic platform. The model captures authentication dynamics, resource navigation, and role-based access dynamics, achieving high anomaly detection accuracy in controlled simulations. Results highlight the approach's potential for proactive monitoring and risk reduction in enterprise systems. The proposed methodology demonstrates detection accuracy up to 92% with low false positive rates under realistic workloads.
