Transport and technological machines (TTMS) are constantly being improved due to the desire of engineers to reduce the negative impact of vibration loads and acoustic discomfort on operators. The constant interaction of the operator with the equipment is inevitably accompanied by the effects of mechanical and sound vibrations, which pose serious risks to the health of workers and reduce labor productivity. That is why solving the problems of noise and vibration protection is a priority for manufacturers of special equipment. However, reducing vibration and noise is a complex technological process that involves a number of engineering disciplines, including mechanical engineering, materials science, ergonomics, and acoustics. The article discusses effective methods of combating vibration and noise used in modern machines, as well as suggests ways to further improve design solutions.
