Abstract:
The article discusses the problem of unpredictability and loss of control in the processes of document approval, due to the lack of a system mechanism for responding to delays. Manual reminders and calls are not only ineffective, but they are also not recorded in the system, which distorts metrics and hides the real reasons for downtime. The architecture and prototype of a low-code escalation rule constructor integrated into the business process automation platform are proposed as a solution. The constructor allows a business analyst to flexibly configure multi-level scenarios of automatic actions in response to deadlines through a visual interface: from notifications to reassigning tasks and notifying management. The rules can be differentiated by document types, departments, and priorities. The result of the implementation is the automation of control actions, which guarantees the movement of the process, and the formation of a complete objective metric, including an analysis of the triggering of escalations. The tool transforms the system from a passive router into an active controller that ensures compliance with deadlines and increases overall manageability and transparency of processes.
