A cellular automata model is proposed for analyzing conflicts between left-turning vehicles and pedestrians, including traffic rule violations. The model accounts for behavioral parameters of road users and enables assessing the impact of violations on delays and safety. The results can be applied to optimize traffic signal timings and intersection infrastructure.
