The article presents a method for the production of a neutron-protective material based on compacted wood as a hydrogen-containing substance that stops the energy of neutrons. Recommendations are given on the implementation of the technological process of compacting wood in a mold, technological modes of the compaction process are selected with justification of the optimal effort and duration of pressing, heating temperature, duration of the quality normalization process.
