The collection presents the materials of the international scientific and methodological seminar "Physical foundations of modern high-tech technologies", which took place on November 16, 2021 on the basis of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of VGLTU. The purpose of the seminar is to familiarize with the results of scientific work of teachers, young scientists and university students, exchange knowledge and experience on the application of the basic laws of physics and physical methods in various fields of science and technology: mechanical engineering, pharmacology, life safety, modeling, as well as attracting the most capable students to carry out scientific research. The problems of studying the influence of external influences of various physical nature on the properties of dielectrics and semiconductors, the use of computer modeling for the analysis of various processes, ecological and physiological modeling of stands based on the laws of nonequilibrium thermodynamics of open systems, methodological issues of teaching physics at a technical university are considered. The collection is intended for a wide range of specialists, researchers, teachers, postgraduates and students of higher educational institutions interested in the issues of physical and mathematical modeling of processes in natural and technical systems and the application of physical research methods in various fields of science and technology.
